120 players came to gain exposure in front of college coaches and scouts plus compete versus some top end players over the two days. There was a lot of talent in the gym and

A scoring point guard can can get hot quickly. He moves the ball smartly for better shots but he is a shooter. He will catch and shoot from the three point line and can get rolling in a blink of an eye. He also has quick hands on defense and plays hard on both sides of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433722' first='Weston' last='Chavez'] Phoenix Christian

A defensive minded point guard was my personal top motor that I viewed over the two days. He picks up his opponents legitimately 94-feet with his strong and stocky frame and will take charges. He has long arms and a no-quit attitude to compete. He can hit the three off the catch and makes smart reads.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533653' first='Bennett' last='Christensen'] Ben Franklin

A pure point guard who will throw up the court ropes on a dime. He makes pocket passes look easy and will drive and kick it with great timing. He will score and get downhill plus pull-up from mid-range. He is already one of the leaders for the Chargers and looks to have a monster season this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2109028' first='Malachi' last='Kaffey'] AZ Compass Prep

Another real point guard who is unselfish and will whip it up the court in transition. He makes plays for his teammates and will score. He is quick to get to the basket to score in the paint plus shoots it from the three point line better then most of his class with range. He uses his size and length in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149115' first='Marcus' last='McCaster Jr'] Phhoenix Prep

Another high motored guard has a strong frame with a very physical approach to the game. He is a top on-ball defender from his class. He has longer arms and quick feet to keep his opponents in front of him. He can get to the basket and will score it often with threes off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552772' first='Tre' last='Terry'] Hamilton (Pictured)

A bigger scoring lead guard can play on or off the ball. He has grown a little and his bounce is coming in playing above the rim on the break. He is a good passer and can score. He shoots the three off the catch, tough mid-range jumpers with high elevation, spin moves in traffic high off the glass and euro steps. The younger brother of Dalen Terry is probably not done growing.
