Pridgen is a guy that continues to establish himself as a primary producer for whatever team he’s on as he possesses a natural ability to score the basketball. For No Guts No Glory 16u on the UA Rise Circuit, Pridgen has proven his ability to compete and produce vs talented players from all over America. In the final session, Pridgen averaged 13.5 Points, 2.8 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, and 2.5 Steals per game on 48% from the floor and 86% from the line. He was able to produce at this rate while not shooting his best from beyond the arc on limited attempts. Pridgen is establishing himself as a bonafide next level prospect and should be lined up for a big Junior season at Hunt.

Pridgen does a really good job for both his Hunt HS team and No Guts No Glory UA Rise 16u as a guard that makes plays for himself and others with consistency and at a high level. Pridgen has real vertical pop in transition with the ability to touch the paint and make good decisions with the ball in the half court.. Pridgen has excellent vision and is really comfortable operating in ball screen situations. Pridgen can heat up from the outside, touch the paint at will, and finish in traffic when needed. He’s a guy that can absolutely rise through the rankings at the next update as he’s starting to display his ability and produce vs higher levels of competition.

Pridgen is off to a strong start with No Guts No Glory NC UA Rise 16u after winning MVP at the Big Shots Rocky Mount Tip-Off this past weekend coming off of a really impressive sophomore season at Hunt High School. He averaged 17.2 Points per game this weekend as he got downhill to his right hand essentially whenever he wanted. This past season at Hunt he averaged 11.8 Points, 1.9 Rebounds, 2.9 Assists, and 2.9 Steals per game on 49/17/58 splits. Pridgen can definitely get to the basket at will and really turn defense into offense with those active hands. If he can find a way to really refine and improve his jump shooting, it will only make life easier for him as a slasher + provide him with more opportunities to get baskets for his team. Pridgen above all else is a winning player and proved that to start this weekend by helping his team get a championship at Big Shots, as he continues to progress in his overall skillset, he’ll only become even better.
