One of the top small school guards in Ohio’s 2028 class, Johnson proved he could hang with players from all over Ohio as he was one of the top performers from the sophomore ID camp. Johnson has a nice mix of a quick first step, impressive ball handling ability to change directions while slashing to the paint and the ability to knock down a 3-pointer. Johnson has wasted no time making noise during his sophomore season as he exploded for a career high 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in a win over Tusky Valley. I don’t expect 31 to remain his career high for long if Johnson continues to play with the confidence he’s shown early this year.
