About Gavyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an upcoming Freshman out oF Youngstown Ohio. I’m looking to make a statement this year after having a rough 8th grade year i have been putting in countless hours on the court and in the gym working on my craft. Ensuring I can play at a high level this upcoming season. I want to leave my mark on Ursuline High school. I’m a 5,10 Small Forward with the ability to play any guard position. Look out

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hard worker. A guy that will give any coach his all. I put countless hours in the gym and on the court ensuring I can play at the highschool and even college level moving forward.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

This season I took a step back from aau and decided to put the time I had into putting on weight for my freshman year here at Ursuline. In prior times I played for team cure out of Struthers Ohio.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a leader. A guy that will make sure my teammates keep their head up after a mistake.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My biggest weakness as of right now is a consistent jumpshot. Some days I’ll be a lights out shooter from 3 and the next I won’t.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal to play division 1 basketball at any level but my top school are Illinois, Kentucky, St.John’s and Michigan
