KJ White (5'10/PG/'26/Gainesville GA)

KJ White grew on me as the 5v5 play went on. When he found his groove, he really showed his ability to facilitate and get his teammates the ball in scoring positions. He has a mature floor game and a solid PG IQ. He is crafty with the rock, and he keeps defenders on their heels, trying to anticipate his next move. He also showed the ability to score the rock when moments arose. He has three-level scoring capacity, and is really good at creating his own offense just as much as he is when he is creating for his teammates.

Trayvon continues to show why he is considered one of the top players in the state in the 2028 class. His confidence continues to grow, and he is a reason why many are looking at Gadsden City to be a serious contender for the state championship. He impressed the UAB coaching staff with how hard he played on both ends of the floor. He was one of the more athletically gifted guards in the camp, showcasing his athleticism through precise takes to the cup and electric finishes. He is definitely a player that the UAB coaching staff will be keeping an eye on.

Nate is a wing with really good positional size and was really difficult to contain off the bounce. He is a playmaker with the ability to make good things happen for his squad when the rock is in his hands. He does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating, but make no mistake about it, he was at his best when he was looking to put points on the board. He has a multi-level scoring arsenal and was definitely a player who caught the eyes of the UAB coaching staff.

Evan continues to make his mark this spring and summer. He showed his budding versatility and ability to score inside and out. He impressed with his ability to put the ball on the floor and score by attacking the cup. He impacted 5v5 play with his ability to control the glass and be a rim deterrent. There is a lot of intrigue surrounding Evan, and he was a player who had some really good moments throughout the 5v5 play.

IG: the.only_charlie

Charles was one of the more talented floor generals in the camp. He was also one of the more true-to-the-position point guards, and it showed in how he facilitated the offense. He is a pass-first PG who excels at getting his teammates involved, and he makes his team better when he operates in this mode. I really like his competitive fire that he plays with on both ends of the floor, as he does not back down from anyone. I didn't know until after the camp that he was a recent transfer to Gadsden City, which is another reason why some people consider Gadsden City a contender for the state championship.

Preston Echols (6'6/Wing/2027/IMG Academy (FL))

Preston was one of the more athletic players in camp, and coupled with his positional size and length, he caused some match-up problems and made an impact on both ends of the floor. He did a really good job of playing in space and showing his ability to put the ball on the floor and put pressure on the rim. He was really good at scoring over the top of most defenders, as not many could match his length. He did a good job on defense, defending multiple positions and using his length to contain perimeter ball-handlers, close-out on shooters, and contend with post players on the low block.
