This time, we're focusing on the ballers who stayed locked in with their high school programs this summer—grinding in open gyms, team camps, and workouts to elevate their game. These players put in the work, leveled up their skills, and are primed to be impact players when the season tips this winter.

So, who's been making noise with their high school squads? Let's take a trip across the state and check in on a handful of hoopers ready to make their mark.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413967' first='Brody' last='Richter'] (2028) |6'0 G| Linton-HMB

Richter was the Lions best player this summer and he improved his game dramatically. Brody has grown and has added solid weight. Richter is stronger and more explosive. Brody is young, but he has displayed an impressive finishing ability. The Lions will count on him heavily this coming winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2400058' first='Briggs' last='Schlosser'] (2028) |6'2 PF| EKM

Briggs is a tough Rebel. Schlosser has worked hard on his shooting and he never gets tired on the court. He has become a better ball handler this summer. Schlosser thrives starting fast breaks after he grabs the board. He goes coast to coast in a hurry. Briggs is a player to watch for EKM.

[player_tooltip player_id='2114976' first='Brogan' last='Young'] (2027) |6'0 G| EKM

The Rebs have a new head coach and we expect Young to be one of the dudes. Brogan has built up his body strong, has a nice stroke from 3, but can also attack the basket hard and finish with both hands. Defensively, he can guard up to the 5 spot, which makes him a Swiss army knife on defense for us. Brogan should be EKM's best all-around player and All-Region isn't out of the question for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1894873' first='Dayson' last='Dubois'] (2027) |5'8 G| Four Winds-Minnewaukan

He brings a ton of effort on both sides of the ball. Dubois should be in the running for a starting spot. He has looked good this summer. Dawson can get hot in a hurry and he makes positive plays as a slasher/creator/scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2270646' first='Easton' last='Benz'] (2026) |6'3 G/SF| New Rockford-Sheyenne

He is a high-level athlete and is becoming a better shooter. His consistency from deep has improved and Benz loves the corner 3. Easton will take on a bigger role this coming season on the offensive end. He is a fearless rim-attacker. Do not forget, Benz is a great defender. NRS will have two tough players with Benz and Simon. These two will lead the Rockets, they have some upcoming talent as well that will help round out the roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632742' first='Easton' last='Simon'] |6'0 PG| New Rockford-Sheyenne

His mid-range game has come a long way this summer. Wait until fans see it this winter, you will be impressed! Simon has put in the time and it is showing. Easton has also increased his production from 3. He has been the Rockets best shooter the past 2 years but he did not pull the trigger from three-point much. He is now scoring the rock from all three-levels at a high rate. NRS is excited for this upcoming season because they have 2 solid leaders back with a ton of experience. They will also have new faces that will surprise some people.

[player_tooltip player_id='2281100' first='Jason' last='Weinberger'] (2026) |6'2 SF| Flasher

He showed this summer that he can be an all-around dude. Weinberger is tough to handle because he can score the rock from every level. Jason is learning to pick his spots and he knows how to deliver.

[player_tooltip player_id='2237724' first='Kelton' last='Friesz'] (2027) |6'2 SF| Flasher

Mr. Friesz shot the ball really well this summer. Once Kelton knocks down a few shots, he is a scary player as he can create off the bounce. This leads to scoring at the cup. Friesz can be a force on the hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='2915805' first='Keyson' last='Littlewind'] (2028) |6'0 G| Four Winds-Minnewaukan

This young baller brings non-stop effort and energy on both sides of the ball. Keyson has shot the ball with confidence this summer and he is delivering. He never plays with fear and his energy is always prevalent. Keyson is sneaky athletic and loves playing defense. Littlewind will likely fight for a starting spot, if not, he will play heavy minutes off the bench. Either way, Littlewind is a player to watch for the Indians.

[player_tooltip player_id='2907729' first='Khale' last='Lambert'] (2029) |6'2 G| Dunseith

The Dragons are excited about this young talent. Lambert is currently 6'2" but he is not done growing. He is a flat-out scorer. Khale handles the ball well and puts up points from every level. Lambert has a nice-looking and soft shot. He puts it on the floor well and is a crafty finisher for such a youngster. Khale can also drill the triple. He has looked good this summer in the PNR game. I suspect that he will get solid varsity burn this winter off the bench.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409449' first='Sonny' last='Alberts'] (2028) |6'6 PF| Four Winds-Minnewaukan

He looked tough with Pack in club ball. I like Sonny's J-shot, calm presence, size, and craftiness to score. He creates space but has a smooth feel for the game. The skilled BIG has added quickness and muscle. He has shot it hot and with confidence this summer. Sonny could be an impact baller for 4Winds this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2707920' first='Tiernan' last='Fleck'] (2027) |6'3 SF| Flasher

He is an explosive athlete and a playmaker. Tiernan had some impressive stretches on the court this summer. Look for Fleck to be more disciplined on defense this winter, which will help him take the next step.

[player_tooltip player_id='2915946' first='Ty' last='Meyer'] (2029) |5'11 G| Flasher

He is an up-n-coming Bulldog and a player to watch at Flasher. Meyer is fast and skilled. He shoots it very well and gets to the hole for buckets. This summer was huge for him in terms of development. Flasher expects Ty to contribute on varsity this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2281069' first='Zach' last='Bonogofsky'] (2026) |6'2 G| Flasher

He is a returning All-District and All-Region ball player. Zach is becoming more assertive on both ends, he will be scary in his senior season. I like Bonogofsky's length, handles, shot, and creative scoring. He is an impressive Class B ball player. He will be a Stock Riser in the next rankings update.
