About Andrew
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Andrew is a stand up 3 and D player with incredible endurance with a top speed over 20 mph. His shooting ability separates his talent from others and his great passing ability helps him mesh in any offense. A combination of speed and strength make him a strong defender up and down the court and in the paint. This is a team player with a high IQ that fits well in any system.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Andrew is a very trustworthy and loyal teammate looking to get everyone involved. Andrew is a grind it out player with a hard work ethic and works daily with a very consistent and focused plan. You can count on him to show up and work through the pain even when times get tough. He loves the game of basketball and has a winning attitude. He fights to win battles and locks up his assignments.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Andrew currently plays with Phoenix Running Rebels and finished out 16U this past Summer with the team as a new and up coming team addition. Andrew looks forward to playing 17U with Royce Woolrdige on his Running Rebels Team in the Addidas 3SSB Circuit in 2026.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have learned that teamwork and helping others will make a difference beyond basketball. By working together and being a selfless individual, I can make a difference in people’s lives. A community where everyone can win and support each other is a much better situation if we can all make it across the finish line. Being able to communicate and share ideas has helped me become a better leader.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My Freshmen Year, a new Coach at Mountain Ridge put me in the practice squad and did not play me. They said I wasn’t quite gooe enough or not ready. This was very upsetting and pushed me to new limits with my game. Even though they told me no, I tripled down and worked 10 times harder to accomplish my dream.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that can provide an excellent education that aligns with my goals and vision while also playing basketball. Most importantly, I’d like to be in a college atmosphere that balances education and sports in a comfortable environment that allows me to succeed.
