About Joshua

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player. I believe in playing intense defense against the best player on the other side. I also can score at all three levels, but primary play with drive and score, drive and kick, or catch and shoot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to be the best. On defense I want to play against the best, on offense I want to go against the best. But I believe in being humble and all of my work is for God's glory not my own.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I do drama, and some tech based clubs like stem club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have constantly worked on my leadership and teamwork ability including going to a PGC camp. I volunteer a lot at my church including community serve days were we help single moms and clean up around schools.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was not picked for my 4th grade, 5th grade, and 7th grade teams on the first tryout. But I was able to work daily to get better to end up making the final cut my 6th grade, 7th grade, and now my 8th grade MS varsity team. Those set backs taught me that I need to be putting in a lot of work on my own time when no one is looking in order to get better myself. So that is exactly what I did.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any Division 2, 1 or NAIA school that will allow me to pursue my passion and calling to its fully potential. I would also prefer if it had a computer science or computer engineering program.
