Easton Sheets (St Paul Lutheran/Concordia): A 6'5" forward who was an All-District player on a team that won 21 games and played for a district championship last season in Class 2. He is a solid inside player who scores well in the low post. He seals well for position and he has a nice jump hook over the left shoulder. He also screens very well to free up his teammates.

Eugene Lubaga (Grandview): A 6'5" forward who had one of the most impressive motors that I watched at the event. He was running the court and he went after every rebound as if the ball had his name on it. He was very good at attacking the offensive boards as he was very difficult to block out on a consistent basis. He also had some strong takes off the dribble from the high post area.

Anthony Juarez (Grain Valley): A 6'4" small forward with a solid body who was stretching the floor with his 3-point shooting. He was very good at shooting it from the corners in the game I watched him. He was also very adept with the turn and face from the high post to drive it to the basket.

Blake Pfanner (Monroe City): A beefy post player at 6'5" and 235-pounds who played a physical game around the basket. He worked hard for position to catch the ball and for rebounding. He didn't mind moving people around in the lane like furniture. He was also a very good screener.

Aiden Clifton (Festus): A 6'3" small forward who I watched in a couple of events in June and was impressed with how he contributes to the team in a variety of ways. He is very active and physical around the paint. He posts up well in the lane and gives himself a solid base inside. He can also drive it well from the perimeter. He is a solid rebounder and defensive player as well. He was also a standout football player on the Tigers' Class 4 state finalist.

Hueston Saunders (Rockhurst): A 6'5" forward who is a very active player and was willing to do a lot of things to help his team that could go unnoticed in the box score. He was hustling for rebounds and loose balls and he also screened well. His effort at both ends of the floor was always at a high level.

JoJo Ballard (Carl Junction): A 6'2" small forward who was a very effective slasher in the lane. He scored on a number of smooth takes to the basket. He also displayed his good length on the defensive end with a number of deflections.
