Fourth of July weekend is here, which means the summer AAU season is upon us. The 2029 class has yet to play any varsity minutes, but that won't stop them from having an impact this July. Here are the 2029 shooting guard prospects to track this July.

Ayyash is playing up with the 15U Shoreshots HGSL team and is looking to make his mark this July. The 6'0 guard has a good first step, which he uses to get into the lane and finishes well around the basket. Ayyash moves well without the ball in his hands and rarely forces shots in the half court. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Ayyash is a gritty guard prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='2884538' first='Omar' last='Ayyash'], 6'0 Ocean Township

O. Ayyash will also be suiting up for the 15U Shoreshots HGSL team and will look to make his impact felt right away. The 6'0 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Ayyash can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He works hard on the defensive end and is a solid rebounder. Ayyash's ability to score in the paint and make good decisions with the ball in his hands has helped his stock in a big way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2884582' first='Carson' last='Costello'], 6'2 Atlantic Christian

Costello has the ability to play wither spot on the perimeter, making him an intriguing prospect to watch. The 6'2 guard has a quick release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Costello can also put the ball on the floor and finishes nicely around the rim. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and moves well without the ball in his hands. Costello is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to torch the nets from distance will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2887075' first='Jack' last='Grundy'], 6'1 Montgomery

Grundy is a prospect to track this month as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 6'1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get to his spot on the floor and has a nice touch in the mid-range. Grundy can draw contact on his way to the rim and rarely forces shots in the half court. He gets deflections on the defensive end and is a solid passer. Grundy is a tough guard prospect whose game should continue to grow over the course of July.

[player_tooltip player_id='2887076' first='Jordan' last='Mason'], 6'0 St. Joe's Metuchen

Mason can play either guard spot and should put that on display this July. The 6'0 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. Mason rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and is able to find his teammates in the half court. He slides his feet well on the defensive end and pushes the pace well in transition. Mason's ability to play on and off the ball should be put on display, which will help his development in a big way.
