[player_tooltip player_id='2556692' first='Evan' last='Egans'] showcased a remarkable sense of toughness throughout the weekend, which I found truly impressive. His hustle plays on both ends of the court significantly contributed to their victories, particularly against Oak Ridge. Notably, he is not afraid to engage in physical contact during his on-ball matchups defensively. Evan is a quick and agile player who can score both downhill and in the mid-range due to his first step. He's also comfortable shooting from the perimeter, making himself a threat from beyond the arc. In transition, Evan is a player you can expect to pick apart defenses. He takes the ball to the rim and makes good passes to his teammates, leading to easy baskets.

[player_tooltip player_id='2555187' first='Eric' last='Ekwegbara'] was exceptionally active on the glass, securing numerous offensive and defensive rebounds against Houston Christian. Defensively, he stood out as the primary rebounder, making crucial stops while he was on the court. On the offensive end, he demonstrated his ability to keep possessions alive by effectively tipping the ball to his teammates and simultaneously grabbing rebounds to pass the ball back out.

D'Nharayane is a vital player for the offensive glass. He excels at putting the ball back in the basket after offensive rebounds and using his 7-foot height to his advantage to score in the post. Additionally, he effectively protects the rim, making it difficult for the opposing team to challenge him in the paint. D'Nharayane will be a big factor for St. Louis Catholic when the high school season starts.

Ayodeji Ayodele is a versatile rim-running forward who makes a significant impact on both ends of the court. Offensively, he is highly active on the offensive glass, giving Fort Bend [player_tooltip player_id='2854586' first='Austin' last=''] an edge in second-chance opportunities. His fluid transition running makes him a threat whenever defense turns into offense. When at the rim, Ayodeji finishes well using his athleticism to overpower defenders, even with contact. Defensively, he anchors the paint, demonstrating his ability to protect the rim and make accurate rotations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556275' first='Isaiah' last='Washington']'s shot-making prowess was evident against Rayburn, as he consistently posed a threat from the perimeter, sinking multiple threes. His ability to make shots off the catch was evident, as he moved swiftly without the ball, never remaining stagnant on offense. While dominating the perimeter, he also made himself a threat in the mid-range and used his speed to attack the basket. Defensively, Isaiah was highly active, pressing opposing players to make quick decisions. He demonstrated good anticipation by getting his hands in passing lanes while playing off the ball.
