About Sarek

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Scoring-minded guard with a smooth shooting stroke and a strong touch on floaters. Comfortable playing off the ball and finding open spots to score in spurts. Efficient passer who keeps the offense moving. Best in rhythm, with the ability to heat up quickly and make smart plays within the flow of the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hardworking and focused player who takes pride in being a great teammate. I stay consistent with my training and always look for ways to improve. I stay coachable, bring positive energy, and do whatever it takes to help my team win. I let my work speak for itself and stay committed to the process, even when no one’s watching.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m not currently in any school clubs, but I take pride in being a strong student and staying focused in the classroom. I maintain good grades and always aim to stay on top of my schoolwork.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Discipline, consistency, teamwork, and a strong work ethic—on and off the court. I’ve also learned how to stay focused, coachable, and push through challenges.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I went through a tough time during my parents’ messy divorce. Basketball helped me stay focused and motivated, and it taught me how to stay strong and committed through adversity.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me both athletically and academically, helping me grow and succeed in both areas.
