May 2nd-4th I attended the annual Bash in the Desert at the Phhacility and Cortez HS locations. It had exactly 60 teams total and I watched almost every team in 17U and 16U and some of the 15U teams to form a good opinion of the field.

I watched 23 of the 25 17U teams and

Here is my 4th team All-Individual Teams for 17U:

Antonio Camarao PF 6'7 2025 Henry J. Kaiser/CA (Rancho Elite 17)

A strong power forward with an impressive build/frame. He will dunk it on the break and rebounds the ball at a good clip with two hands and blocks shots in bunches. He is very nimble in space to defend and scores with quick rip thrus to the rim and handles contact better then most with his football-like frame.

[player_tooltip player_id='2784892' first='Kaeden' last='Everett'] North (AZ Legacy 17)

A high level athletic power forward can score and defend. He will drive thru the lane and gets downhill with a quick burst. He will flash to the basket to score using his top end verticality. He is a high level rebounder and has quick hands and feet to play the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633057' first='Zeshawn' last='Gould'] Shadow Ridge (AZGorrilaAZ 17)

An athletic guard has a good feel for the game. He sees the court well and uses his length on defense in the passing lanes. He will rip thru and get to the basket. He will rip some pockets and lay it in on the other end plus catch and shoot and hit the three.

Noah Lozano SG 6'1 2025 Coronado/TX (El Paso Matrix 17)

A scoring guard really knows how to play. He moves without the ball to score, he makes threes off the catch and uses a tighter handle to burst past his defenders and get to the basket. His shooting and court awareness make his game go.

Anthony Monts SF 6'4 2026 Jesse Bethel/CA (Team Rampage 17 New Balance)

A long wing forward is rangy and very effective close to the basket. The long lefty scores it in the lane and has a plus motor to get on the glass. He is super efficient in the paint and has a knack for getting past his defender with longer strides.

[player_tooltip player_id='2857304' first='Jackson' last='Moore.'] Basha ([program_tooltip program_id='2422356' first='3D' last='Hoops'] 17)

A cerebral wing forward will score with offensive rebound put backs, jumpers from mid-range, off the dribble takes to the cup and he gets hot quickly from the three point line. He has a good feel for the game and can make a play for a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1697291' first='Amare' last='Runyon'] Sandra Day O'Connor (Peak 17 National)

An active post player who was a rebound chaser this weekend. He has good size, with some length and a motor. He will score with offensive rebounds and create his own shot with his back to the basket. He has a polished hook shot with good hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848118' first='Anthony' last='Sorensen'] EVAC (Peak 17 Regional)

A scoring point guard talks on offense and defense as a leader. He will score with blow by's to the basket, mid-range pull-ups off the catch or pull and hit the catch three. He is quick on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1876346' first='Sebastian' last='Vargas'] Eduprize (Peak 17 National)

A bigger scoring guard will score it from all three levels. He will score with fall aways off the dribble, dunks on break, offensive rebound put backs and catch threes. He can get to the three throw line and has quicker hands on defense.
