Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
If I had to compare myself to a player, it would be Jaden Ivey or Jaden Akins. I love to slash my way in the paint and create opportunities for my teammates to score. I don't shoot too many three point shots, but I let it fly when the time is right. I also take pride in playing defense. Defense is my favorite thing to do in basketball, and I'm an aggressive shot blocker and rebounder.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Whenever I step onto the court and I look at the other team, I just want them to fear us. I love going into a game wanting to dismantle and completely destroy the other team's offense and defense and blowing them out. I get very serious when gametime or practice comes because I'm addicted to wanting better for myself and my team by being the best me. Off the court, I'm pretty funny and energetic.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I haven't taken pride in doing AAU. But I play in the JCC basketball league. I have received Middle school and High school awards for being the most improved student GPA and behavior wise.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Over the years of trial and error, I've learned to lead by example. Whether it's playing with intensity, leading practice with intensity, or doing the right thing the first time when coach says to do it. Doing these things lead me to being a good teammate and it leads to my teammates turning the heat up they never thought they could bring it up to. Communication is key to me off and on the court.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My biggest challenge was definitely having hardwork over talent. I was never gifted at what I do so good today. I worked for every little piece of skill I have now. I didn't make any middle school teams and barely made my freshman team. This year, 2024-2025 season, I was the leading scorer, steals leader, and rebound leader. People were always telling me how bad I was before.
What type of college are you looking for?
I haven't thought about the specifics yet, but I definitely would love to go to U OF M, or MSU.
