Merion was key to RC Hatch making it to the final four and ultimately capturing the blue map. He is at his best when attacking off the bounce and putting pressure on the rim. He is a confident scorer who can put up points in a hurry. He proved to be a threat every time he touched the ball throughout the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2814989' first='Brady' last='Wilson'] (6'7/PF/'25/Decatur Heritage)

Brady is a stout interior presence who helped his team reach the final four. He showed his inside-out scoring versatility. He showed he can knock down face-up jumpers, score with his back to the basket, and stretch the floor with the three. He is a double-digit rebounder and also showed his ability to make on-time passes to teammates for scoring opportunities.

He makes his debut as the #84-ranked player in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2788724' first='Timothy' last='Austin'] (6'2/CG/'25/Huffman)

Timothy made his debut in the ranking as probably the best defensive player in the class. He emerged into an impactful piece on the Huffman squad and was called upon throughout the year to defend opponents' best player. He was often highly successful in slowing them down. He guarded multiple positions and disrupted the opposing team's plans of attack. Even though he emerged into a standout defender, there were times he impacted games with his ability to create offense off the bounce with physical downhill attacking drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='2814973' first='Caleb' last='Ackles'] (6'3/SF/'25/Anniston)

Caleb is an athletic wing with length and uses his athleticism on both ends of the floor to impact the game. He looked his best when slashing to the cup and scoring at the rim. The key to Caleb's game was that he was able to overpower smaller opponents while maintaining agility against bigger defenders. He is a competitor who plays with energy and effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='2814968' first='Dee' last='Cutts'] (6'4/SF/'25/Montevallo)

Dee has good positional size and can score from all three levels. He is comfortable at the point of attack offensively, has good ball-handling skills, and can get downhill. He has a good feel and creative ability off the bounce. He was in a consistent rhythm throughout the year and was one of the reasons why many people picked Montevallo early to make a run to the final four.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815000' first='Ellis' last='Hamiter'] (5'11/PG/'25/Tuscaloosa Academy)

Ellis was a solid cerebral PG with a mature overall floor game. On the biggest stage of the year, he did a very good job inspiring his teammates while remaining composed under the pressure of the bright lights. He does a good job recognizing defensive schemes, and he adjusts accordingly. He controls tempo, exploits teammates' mismatches, and can even score when needed.
