We had the opportunity to see Ortman play a month or so ago when Greenwood took Plainfield down to the final buzzer. The 6’3″ sophomore guard has impressive length on the perimeter and appears to be a fluid athlete. He averaged 10.1 points per game for the Woodmen and connected on 41 three-pointers. Ortman’s ability to create his own shot from all levels is what is most projectable about his game.
