About Danny

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a big guard who can shoot, pass, rebound, and play defense. This year for school I played against varsity competition and averaged 10 points as an 8th grader. I have. A good left hand and can score anytime in any moment. I also have great confidence. I don’t take bad shots and I pass up good shots for great shots.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is you have to go all out for however long you’re out there. Rebounding wins games and fundamentals. Every trip down the court needs to be a score then a stop no matter what. Be a dog or be dog food

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Jr Honors society at school for the top averages in my class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a leader for all sports. But I have recently taken that role even further playing on the varsity level. One good mentality, body language, and effort will be contagious. When we have all of those we win.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I was in a period of time where I could not shoot free throws. But over the course of the year I really focused on my free throws during practice which turned me around in game. I also stopped thinking and just took a deep breath before I shot.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a DII or DI program. I would love to play basketball at a collegiate level. That is my dream. Basketball means everything to me and I never want to leave it. I am going to do everything I can to get there.
