Heartbreaking loss for Unioto as Hoops ends his career and will move on to Morehead State University to play football. A great effort as the Shermans came out firing from long range as Hoops knocked down two first half 3-pointers and was fouled on another. With his bigger frame Hoops drew the defense in on him when he drove to the basket and had a couple slick dishes to the corner for perimeter shots. In overtime Hoops hit a miracle 3-pointer to make it a two point game and give last hope for the Unioto faithful who made the trip down to Athens. With Matt Combs leading the charge, expect Unioto to be playing high leverage playoff games in the convo for years to come.
