Hegan, a 6’4″ wing for Pelham, showed off an impressive all-around game, making plays in the paint and on the perimeter on both ends of the floor. The playmaking wing did a little bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor, showcasing the versatility of his game as both a scorer and creator. He made shots in catch and shoot situations, created for others with the ball in his hands in transition, and did a nice job of finishing at the rim with length. He’s a plus rebounder on the defensive end of the floor and showed the ability to guard both on the perimeter and in the paint with his combination of strength and mobility.

Hegan makes his first appearance in the New England rankings at #225. The Pelham High School wing is a prospect that does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He’s a grab-and-go rebounder that can make decisions with the ball in his hands, while also showing the ability to finish in a variety of ways in the paint. He’s a consistent perimeter shooter, has good size on the wing, and processes the game at a high level. Defensively, he guards multiple positions and does a nice job of pursuing the basketball on the glass.

Hegan, a skilled wing out of Pelham High School, showed the ability to make the right play regardless of the situation. He impressed as a versatile wing that could put the ball on the floor, make shots from multiple levels, and find the open man in the flow of the offense. He did a nice job of attacking closeouts, moved well without the basketball, and had a smooth stroke from behind the arc. On the other end, he competed on the glass, wasn’t afraid to sit in a stance and work, and did a nice job of fighting through screens.
