Miles is part of a team full of 15U players that decided to compete with an older division this weekend. And he was part of helping a talented group go 3-1 against some of the better teams in the field.
He’s an absolute dynamo with the ball in his hands; Miles has great handles and can stop on a dime to readjust when he needs to. Plus he can beat the defender off the dribble and has a nice turnaround jumper.
And Miles is no slouch on defense. Playing at just 5’10”, he prides himself on playing above the rim and disrupting shots. At one point in their win over PGU Elite, Miles tracked down what looked to be a breakaway dunk-and when his opponent missed the shot, Miles was there to get the rebound and push his team back into transition.
Miles still has 3 years left of high school, and will be a player to watch on the AAU circuit for the 2029 class.

Burgin and his entire WM Premier team are freshmen at their local high schools, and all would qualify for the 15U field. But they chose to play against older players this year, and have truly risen to the occasion; none moreso than Miles.
Helping his team achieve a 3-and-0 start to the weekend, Miles scored 15 points, knocking down six field goals in a convincing win over PGU Elite. He has awesome handles, he can stop on a dime with the ball in his hands, and can surprise you with his vertical ability-securing a jaw-dropping chase-down block in the second half of his team’s win.
Miles prides himself on playing above the rim, in spite of his 5’10” frame. He adjusts well mid-air when he’s making a pass. And he is consistently disrupting opponent’s shots.
With Miles’ talent already showing against a field that’s a year older than him, he’s likely to be a player to watch on the AAU circuit for the next few seasons.

Burgin is a trustworthy ball handler at this stage in his young career. Has matured instinct and pace as a lead guard. Fits into a true point currently but could climb into a 2 eventually with his scoring knack. Generated offense off of defense with multiple steals which led to transition opportunities. After d boarding his eyes are always up on his dribble for smart read and looks. Will make the extra pass after drawing plus 1 defenders. Made a cool spin move into a mid-range fadeaway from 15 feet. Jumper is pure already. Well rounded guard that can create and stick on D.
