League Finals and First Round Standouts in NCS

The play-offs are in full swing in NorCal. This past week PH was able to catch league finals, and a couple of first round play-off games.    He's shown all around improvement as a guard, along with consistent play the last few weeks. He seems more comfortable with ball in hand aggressively attacking the basket when the opportunity presents itself. He has strong, hard drives to the basket, good finishes in transition. He hit a couple of wing 3's, and he's contributing on the boards.     He's come into his own as a guard, doing what guards do. He's settling and running the offense delivering quality passes at the right time, yet he's taking, and making timely shots with some consistency. He's hitting wing 3's, using quality moves to get defenders off balance, then making finishing plays for himself or others.     He's a quality ball handler with some shifty movements working his way up, and around the court getting by defenders, finishing drives with scoops and off hand layups. What was most impressive was the 6-3pointers he made from deep range.     He's a long wing forward with improved skills away from the basket. He can also slash/cut and finish around the basket after receiving passes. He had a couple of nice one two dribble pull-ups from the elbow, along with moves along the baseline to finish at the rim. He drove down the middle for a two handed dunk. He's rebounding and handling in transition.     He's a quality prospect that can effect the outcome of a game in different ways. Though he's made good strides improving his game away from the basket, driving and pulling up for short jumpers. He seems best moving without the ball, setting screens then heading to the basket where they'll throw lobs from different angles. He's an excellent rebounder going out of his space. He has a quick bounce to block and change shots.     Roque causes havoc for opposing defenses. He's in constant motion with ball in hand. When he's going forward pushing, and looking in transition he usually finds a player on his way to the basket. He's got plenty of movement on the perimeter using ball fakes, and jab steps keeping defenders off balance, then attacking from different angles.
