-One of the best forwards that we saw in this event, Anagbogu stood out right away with a bullet pass to a big in what was supposed to be a DHO from the top of the key. He scored on a backdoor cut for the lob finish, rotated great defensively as a shot-blocker in this one, uses his size to impact things on the perimeter, had a great face cut for the off balance lay off glass, blocked two 3s on close-outs that started in the paint, showed great touch on an entry feed assist over the top to his teammate for the AND1 lay, had a great weakside rotation for the block, and executed a smooth fastbreak lay without putting it on the floor in transition late in the game. Anagbogu is a player willing to do the dirty work as a rebounder, serves as a physical but switchable defender for Flowers, shows great anticipation and timing on shot blocks all over the floor, and plays with a motor– sprinting the floor both offensively and defensively in transition to make plays for his team. Really intriguing player to watch.
