-Without a doubt the top performer from the showcase. Smooth lefty guard that makes good reads with the ball in his hands. Boone hit shots from all over the floor, didn’t stick to one spot and was comfortable operating from either side of the floor. Willing passer that reads the floor and can execute whip passes off the bounce with either hand. Shows some good moxie and grit, isn’t afraid of contact and sneaking in around the basket to steal away rebounds from bigs. Flies in routinely to grab loose balls or stick putbacks. Gritty on-ball defender that fights hard over screens, rotated well to fly in to block shots from the other side of the key. Boone seems like a prospect that performs well under pressure and doesn’t shy away from taking big shots in key moments

Charlie Boone Charlie Boone 6'3" | CG/SF Freedom-South Riding | 2026 State VA came out of nowhere for me last season, and he was outstanding for Freedom. I love Charlie’s game, and he has had a nice spring. Charlie has elite range and has a great handle that he uses to create looks from three. He is an outstanding driver going to his left, and he is a good athlete. Charlie has been excellent in the summer league and for NOVA Cavs. He will build on this spring/summer with a great senior season.

Charlie Boone Charlie Boone 6'3" | CG/SF Freedom-South Riding | 2026 State VA had a breakout year for Freedom this past season. Charlie is a solid athlete and has good size for a two-guard. Charlie is a good shooter, and he does a good job attacking the rim. Charlie may take another leap this Spring/Summer and continue his rise.

Charlie Boone Charlie Boone 6'3" | CG/SF Freedom-South Riding | 2026 State VA is a player that has entered my radar recently. Charlie came up big for Freedom in their district semifinal win over Gainesville. Freedom is playing terrific recently, and Charlie is a big part of that. He dominated a bigger Gainesville team as a driver, and he did what he wanted in the paint. Charlie can shoot the ball with a quick release and is a good athlete. Charlie had 20 points in a Freedom win. 

Freedom has a couple of really underrated players, and they have picked up some nice wins as of late. One of the players that I like is Junior Guard Charlie Boone Charlie Boone 6'3" | CG/SF Freedom-South Riding | 2026 State VA . Charlie is a great spot-up shooter with nice range and a quick release. He does a great job attacking and finishing at the rim when he’s driving to his left. Charlie had 15 in a triple overtime win over Battlefield, then had 19 in a blowout win over Osbourn Park.
