Sladek was one of the standout prospects we saw at the Best of the Best event. At 6’6 with great length, Sladek brings versatility as a forward who can stretch the floor with his shooting ability while also making an impact around the basket. He showed a solid post presence throughout the event, consistently finishing inside and battling on the glass as a strong rebounder. His combination of size, touch, and motor made him one of the top forwards in attendance. Sladek will be playing for Athletes in Action Prep next season, where his skill set and upside should continue to develop at a high level.

The omission of Sladek was a mistake as the junior was a dominant force for 2A Western Christian last season. The adjustment to 6A basketball has taken some time – partly due to injuries – but the versatile forward has a ton of potential. He’s long, lanky, and capable of making a difference on both ends with his versatility.
