He attacks the rim like a man on a mission and that mission is to wreck the rim and anyone who is in the way. He is not only explosive off the bounce he is very quick off of that first step. He has next level jumping ability and if there is a school looking for an athlete that get's downhill as a lead guard this kid is a kid you might want to look at. He has a very fluid jumper, he has athleticism at his position. Pickett is able to defend and help as he displays solid footwork. Impressive mechanics on his inside jumper as well as his outside jumper. He works well off of his pivot attacks as well. Barnes is a high motor attacking guard that could easily be averaging 20 plus points a game. He is playing well and even dropped a 30+ point output in his last outing. He gets to his spots when he has the ball and and off the ball he makes solid cuts and that movement gets him open a lot.
