11/18/25: Sharp change of direction. Ethan is shorter than 6′ and in need of guile, speed, or bounce to get his shot off in traffic. At first glance Ethan possesses two of the three: guile, speed. Ragland is a player in that DJ Augustin (NBA retired) mold. He creates his own and though he is listed as a point guard Ethan is primarily a scorer and a creator for himself. Ragland’s primary edge comes from quickness and handle and yet he needs to bulk up a touch to round out his game. Ethan gets a half-step on defenders often. Ideally, he will utilize that edge and draw more fouls. Wilson Central needs to find additional ways to score easy points and this is a feasible solution.
