SAN DIEGO — The 34th edition of The Holiday Classic brought together some of the state's top programs along with talented prospects and squads from outside of California. We were in the gym Saturday for the National/American Division action at Torrey Pines high school and below we break down the impact forwards and centers we saw.

Achilles Reyna | 2027 | Eastside Catholic (WA)

Reyna is a talented sophomore and one of the top prospects in the Pacific Northwest Region. At 6-feet-7 with a strong frame, the forward is a physical interior presence whose ability to finish through contact with touch with either hand stood out in the Crusaders loss to St. [player_tooltip player_id='2382175' first='Xavier' last=''] of Kentucky. Reyna led Eastside Catholic with 20 points and his combination of strength and skill make him a 2027 prospect for Division I programs to track closely.

Clay Grebing | 2026 | Mission Bay

Grebing is emerging as one of San Diego's top players regardless of class. The 6-foot-7 junior is a stretch-four type whose ability to knock down open three's off the catch is his best quality. Grebing is a patient floor spacer with fluid shooting mechanics and is a capable ball handler on straight-line drives to the rim. The Bucs forward scored 15 points in a win over Torrey Pines.

Everett Barnes | 2025 | Father Judge (PA)

Barnes value is in his traditional style of interior play. The 6-foot-10 center is best doing multiple things around the rim: low block touches where he can score with a consistent right-hand jump hook, spacing to the dunker spot on drives from guards and finishing dump off passes above the rim and crashing the offensive glass for second-chance opportunities. Barnes scored 10 points with nine rebounds in a semifinal loss to Archbishop Riordan.

Jarne Eyenga | 2025 | JSerra

Eyenga continues to raise his recruiting stock after sitting out last season due to his international transfer and his offensive skill-set propelled JSerra into the championship game of The Holiday Classic. The 6-foot-9 forward has back to the basket feel that you don't see often among high school prospects and uses it to score around the rim with skill and touch. Eyenga finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Lions' semifinal win over Carlsbad.

[player_tooltip player_id='1382882' first='Nes' last='Emeneke'] | 2025 | Archbishop Riordan

The UC Irvine-bound center is a force at the high school level because of his combination of size, physicality, athleticism and motor. The 6-foot-10 center uses those traits and tools to overwhelm opposing bigs and forwards on both ends of the floor which results in him being a consistent double-double threat. Emeneke is a power finisher through contact around the rim but also showed some touch when stepping out to 15-feet. The senior finished with 12 points but his rim protecting and rebounding are what propelled Riordan into the title game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225689' first='Nigel' last='Walls'] | 2025 | St. Francis Episcopal (TX)

Walls is a highly-skilled center who, at 6-feet-11, is a prospect who can step out onto the perimeter and knock down jumpers, face-up and create in the mid-range and score with his back to the basket. The wiry SMU-bound prospect finished with an efficient 11 points in a win over Louisville of Ohio.

Omarion Harvey | 2025 | St. Francis Episcopal (TX)

Harvey's best attributes are the motor he plays with and the chip on his shoulder the he brings with them and it results in a two-way impact. The 6-foot-7 forward is a bouncy vertical athlete who gets out and runs the floor in transition where he slashes his way to the rim for above the rim finishes. The unsigned senior is an effort and energy guy who is best as a downhill driver, offensive rebounder and versatile defender and finished with 14 points in a win over Louisville.

Pablo Balderas | 2025 | Mission Bay

Balderas is an under-the-radar prospect in Southern California but his performance in a win over Torrey Pines will earn him a spot in our updated rankings. The 6-foot-6 forward did most of his damage around the basket where he used his strong frame to absorb and finish through contact and earn second-chance opportunities with his offensive rebounding. Balderas finished with 17 points.

Yabi Aklog | 2026 | Eastside Catholic (WA)

Aklog is a skilled five-man whose right and left hand touch around the basket stood out as translatable skills. At 6-feet-10, the junior is a back to the basket scoring threat with good footwork and the understanding of how to create and maintain proper angles to score around the basket. Aklog finished with 17 points in a loss to St. [player_tooltip player_id='2382175' first='Xavier' last=''] of Kentucky.
