Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
He operates as a true floor general, doing a nice job touching the paint and putting pressure on the defense. He gets to the foul line and shows the ability to make plays for others. He also flashes some pop as a scorer, giving his team an added offensive boost.

A versatile swingman without a true position, Leonard has displayed steady year-to-year improvement to establish himself as one of the York-Adams League’s most dynamic two-way weapons. Averaging close to 20 points per game, he’s led the Trojans to a 17-5 record and positioned them for a berth in the state tournament. Leonard is a consistently rugged force looking to attack the basket in any way imaginable, whether as a cutter, rebounder, or on-ball slasher. He’s a versatile presence on the defensive end with a nonstop motor and natural instincts for the ball. While he doesn’t fit into a traditional mold, Leonard’s athletic package and wide assortment of skills should generate attention at the scholarship level.

Read EvaluationColby Giacubeno | Prep Hoops Scout
Leonard led York Suburban to an impressive 4-0 showing this weekend and proved why his name should be firmly on the radar of DII and DIII programs. The 6-foot-3 combo guard does it all for his team and when I say that, I mean he fills every valuable statistic on the box score. His impact was felt on both ends as Leonard is quick from the point of attack, can expose driving lanes in a flash, and does an nice job of maintaining body control while airborne to finish through contact.
For further context on his box score stuffing, Leonard averaged 12.7 points, eight rebounds, four stocks (steals + blocks) and three assists per game.
