New Names from the MICDS Tournament

Prep Hoops Missouri spent Monday evening at the Don Maurer Holiday Invitational at MICDS. Here is a look at some New Names of players who caught our eye on Monday night.    A 6'6" 2025 forward who is known for his work as the Pioneers standout quarterback on their Class 6 Final Four team. He enjoyed a tremendous performance in The Wood's first-round victory over Maplewood. The leffy was lighting it up from 3-point range as he knocked down six triples. He could really stretch the floor from deep. He is also a good position player who uses his body well inside to score and rebound. He also has a nice outlet pass to teammates as they are sprinting down the court.       A 6'5" 2025 small forward who has been a high energy role player throughout his career with the Rams. He uses his length to be very active as a defender and a rebounder. He gets deflections and he always on the hunt for loose balls with his hustle. His offensive game has also improved as he scored on a few solid takes along with a 3-pointer from the corner. He's a player every team would love to have because of his unselfish play and high motor at both ends of the floor.     A 6'4" 2025 small forward who has made a big jump from last season to his senior year. He is a high motor player who plays the game with a lot of force and intensity. When he grabs a rebound, he's getting out and pushing the ball to get as far as he can go. He is tough on the drive and he can also post up smaller players with his strength. He's been constantly getting double-doubles so far this season.      A 6'5" 2026 forward who came off the bench and did some impressive things when he came off the bench in the first quarter. He immediately started to impact play with his length and athleticism. He was a factor on the defensive end as he used his length and timing to block shots. He also knocked down a 3-pointer off the catch. He is a solid rebounder who was getting out and running the court well. His activity level was also high at both ends of the court.     A 6'6" 2026 forward who is known for his work on the football field, where he is an excellent prospect as a big wide receiver. He is a high-energy player who rebounds and runs the court well. He scored multiple buckets in the transition game on some impressive rim-runs. He is also a solid post defender who uses his mobility well and he can also block shots.     A 6'5" 2025 forward who is physically strong and who plays a blue collar game around the basket. He is a tireless worker who was scouring offensive rebounds and either scoring on putbacks or kicking it back out to open shooters. He loves the physical play in the lane, whether he was battling for low post position for rebounding space.     A 5'11" 2028 point guard who was a bright spot for the Blue Devils in their loss to Kirkwood. He has good athleticism and quickness and he made some dynamic plays during the night. He made one play on defense where he ventured out and blocked a 3-point attempt, then dived out of bounds to save the ball to a teammate. He slashes well off the dribble and he was able to create a nice step-back jumper, which he hit two of them. He also got up and grabbed a few rebounds in traffic against some much bigger players.
