Though Maxwell is also 6-foot-4, he goes about getting his points in a slightly different way than Rodrigues. The Abington senior has some verve to his off-the-dribble game and really looks to use hesitation and hang dribbles to freeze the defense before blowing by them to the hoop. He also prefers to get to his mid range a bit more but can also excel as a finisher at the rim. He’ll be one of the higher scorers in the entire MIAA and should be getting tons of D3 looks. An improved three-point shot and passing vision would be huge for Maxwell’s recruitment and could even push him into the scholarship ranks.
