Miller took home the West Region MVP Award in the NCHSAA 3A State Championship game following 13 points and five rebounds in their 64-62 overtime victory over Southern Durham. The 6-foot-5 wingman showed off his ability to attack the paint in their West Region victory over Huss with 21 points and seven rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting from the field as well. He’s a shifty prospect with some budding athleticism he continues to utilize to his advantage. Following Ben L. Smith’s victory in the NCHSAA 3A State Championship, he remains a top unsigned senior prospect.

Kenny Miller played 28 minutes despite being in foul trouble for the majority of the contest in the regional final contest. Despite that, the lanky wing forward finished with a very efficient 21 points, and 7 rebounds on an impressive 8 of 12 from the field while doing a solid job defensively slowing down the Ben L.Smith forwards. Playing what will be his last high school game on Friday night I expect another solid performance to be on the way.

His stats may not blow you away but the impact that he makes on the game is very clear. The IQ that he has for the game, along with a skillset and height that allows him to play the PG, SG or SF positions makes him a very intriguing prospect.

Miller is an intriguing guard prospect for DI and DII programs in the region to get to know. He’s a sizeable creator off the bounce at 6-foot-5 who’s shown he’s capable of getting paint touches and making things happen within the rhythm of the offense. He’s quite the finisher around the rim and in traffic who’s shown he’s worthy of being targeted by programs in need of a versatile guard presence in their rotation.
