About Tarun

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a competitive point guard who thrives in high-pressure situations. My game is built on strong court vision, unselfish playmaking, and relentless on-ball defense. I excel at reading the game, setting up my teammates, and applying constant pressure on both ends of the floor. With experience in AAU and tournament settings, I bring poise, intensity, and leadership to every game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a team-first, hardworking athlete with a growth mindset. I stay humble, always looking to improve and support my team in every way I can.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm a student who’s passionate about basketball, both on and off the court. I help coaches train young players to develop their skills, which has deepened my love for the game and leadership. I’ve made the honor roll, showing my commitment to academics, and recently started exploring sports photography—capturing the energy and emotion of the game through my lens.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Making the honor roll while balancing sports and my hobby in sports photography has helped me develop strong time management and focus. It’s taught me how to stay organized and committed, ensuring I excel both academically and in my personal pursuits.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking at schools that offer strong sports management programs, competitive basketball opportunities, and a focus on the community.
