Kevin is a leader on the court, controlling the game tempo at all times, he runs offense to perfection and makes everyone around him better, wether he is facilitating or scoring he looks very comfortable no matter who he is up against.

Kill or be killed, dont hold back when stepping on the court, If i know you or not when we in those 4 lines and have on different jerseys we enemies

Kevin Burks Kevin Burks Kevin Burks 6'0" | PG/SG Woodlawn-Shreveport | 2026 State LA is a dynamic, shifty guard with the ability to score at will. His change of pace sets him apart, allowing him to control the tempo and keep defenders off balance. In the first round of the playoffs, he delivered a standout performance against Opelousas, showcasing a playmaking ability that created quality scoring chances for both himself and his teammates. Woodlawn will need another big night from him, but as he has demonstrated all season, he is on a mission to win.

Burks is growing into his lead role at Woodlawn, but his skills are clear. He is a high IQ point guard that makes players around him better. He can be trusted to score from all three levels and he works hard on both sides of the ball. He makes great basketball decisions and knocks down timely shots. Burks is a player to watch and he could lead Woodlawn back to the T-Mike days. Woodlawn will be a scary team when the playoffs come around with him leading and the young weapons on their roster.
