The OTP travel basketball organization run by Jack Shaughnessy is ever expanding and filling its roster of coaches and administrators with a ton of young and vibrant basketball talent and ambition from around the Atlanta-area. Coming off a spring and summer where its first New Balance Pro 16 17U team turned a lot of heads with a bevy of rising talent occupying the roster, the expansion continues this fall with its first-ever Fall League held at various sites in Cherokee County.

Up and running on Sundays since August 18, the league runs from a 5th/6th division up through Varsity, with a mix of travel teams and schools represented. Let's roll back a bit and look at some standouts from the first few weeks of action, Pt 2 of 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436950' first='Peter' last='Julius'] | Mt Bethel | 2028 (pictured at top)

A nationally ranked, top 50 freshman, Julius arrives in Marietta to a team that returned a bunch of backcourt talent but was missing a key frontcourt piece. The 6-9 post certainly adds that, but also has shown off some nice post action and clearly a love of the flush. He's been averaging about 4 dunks a game through fall action and is the kind of game-changing talent that can push the Eagles from a solid state tournament team to a Final Four contender.

Ryder Ritch | OTP | 2027

Another of those young Woodstock guys who have been making big impressions both at OTP's fall league as well as around town. Has that big shot mentality where it's clear he doesn't mind having the ball in big moments, and he can certainly convert getting at the basket and is seriously dangerous from beyond the arc.

So much promise with wow-type moments that make you visualize what he can be when he puts it all together. This is a critical season for the 6-7 riser to take the next step from agile finisher around the rim to a more complete package unlocking the D1 potential we all see.

Part of that veteran core returning for the Knights that has them looking at least in the fall like a contender in 4A. Such a powerful athlete, the former baseball star has been focusing on hoops more and the results on the floor for the springy guard are showing. Exciting piece alongside backcourt mate and fellow exciting senior Kam Stone.

Charlie Wright | Lassiter | 2025

A funky-looking release doesn't seem to be a big deal at the clip Wright knocks them down from distance. For a Lassiter team that looks much improved and playing solid team ball, he's a key both with his shooting prowess and his steady all-around decision-making from either the one or two spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1966141' first='Zeplin' last='Kidd'] | King's Ridge | 2025

The game has always been there in spurts with his IQ and understanding of how to play team ball and yet still get good scoring chances. Now a senior he's grown into a stout frame which allows him to be more physical than ever but he hasn't lost his soft touch. With some guys leaving KRCS in the offseason, he together with transfer big man [player_tooltip player_id='2504933' first='Alex' last='Lowry'] will be counted on much more in big moments.

Nate Robinson | Mt Bethel | 2026

Set for a big jump this season as he takes firmer control of the reins for the Eagles and has a lot of intriguing options surrounding him in the assist department. With the smart distributing he brings too an aggressive attack mode which is both speed and ferocity at the hole. Has been posting consistent numbers all fall.

Nathan Elliott Wolle | Wood Elite | 2031

Younger brother of former Sequoyah star Dylan Wolle, N.E. is a little more point guard right now than his sharpshooting older brother, and it was the assist-making which immediately jumped out for the youngster. Great head for the game with the kind of vision you don't teach, he can find the bucket himself too from a variety of ranges.
