Saturday's PrepHoops The Expo featured dozens of the best prospects in Tennessee. This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their season. Take a look at the players that made up Team 2. The numbers after their name are merely jersey numbers for the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194603' first='Jordan' last='Hearing'] / 2028 / PF
Lefty. Above average bounce. Raw for a varsity starter, but he is ENTERING high school. Hearing sustained the only injury of the day, rolling his ankle with about an hour remaining. Hearing projects as a combo forward. You gotta love his handle, which is not just good for a big, but good for any freshman hooper regardless of position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2195884' first='Chase' last='Prince'] / 2027 / SG
Chase's dribble can be a bit predictable. He needs to get a little more wiggle into his drives...maybe by keeping the appearance of passing alive until finishing. His strength remains catch-and-shooting. Prince's release is very quick which enables him to get it off in a tight shooting window. Hit a clutch three-pointer from the corner. Moving off of the basketball is important for Chase to keep his defender accountable and focused on him. Gym rat.

[player_tooltip player_id='2278560' first='Bryce' last='Garnett'] / 2027 / PG
Exceptional in the final game of the night. Garnett made great decisions on the go. Remember Bryce won the @PrepHoopsTN Combine Young Player MVP in June 2024, so he was entering with a high organizational rep. Lefty Garnett can hit the mid-range, can hit the three-pointer when left open. Frankly, the only thing he can't do every time he wants offensively is score under the tin as he stands 5-foot-9. And until he either grows taller or bulks up Bryce will occasionally get bullied by bigger guards inside 5' when defending. Entering his sophomore season Garnett weighs 150 pounds. If Garnett can only be required to defend outside of the lane he projects as a plus defender. Wonderful instincts and commitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194623' first='Miles' last='Alexander'] / 2028 / PG
Seasoned player despite his youth. Miles played up a lot when he was a young hooper. Exceptional handle. Much quicker laterally than almost all 2028's in the area. Really good mid-air body control. Embraces contact. That is rare for a young player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610387' first='Bryson' last='Morrissette'] / Pigeon Forge / 2028
Adept at mid-range bank shots. Nice height for a guard. He will be able to dunk in 2025. The pace of play was not troublesome for Morrissette, which is saying something because he was 2-3 years younger than most.

[player_tooltip player_id='2479964' first='Isaiah' last='Williams'] / 2027 / SG
Isaiah showed he is getting more confident with his back to the basket. An element that could really broaden his game is posting up his defender, who will usually be a guard, and working from there. Needs to continue to work on his left-handed dribbling. It is passable, but Williams will see traps from time to time and needs better escapability. Shooting touch is a strength. Played his best basketball in the last 10 minutes of the event. He can be a fun help defender in a trapping situation. Wonderful size for the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2199938' first='Wallace' last='Driver'] / 2025 / University School of Jackson
Stands 6-foot-3. Smart guy. High-academic. Strong shoulders. Played with purpose. Can defend the point guard or shooting guard positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610408' first='Jameson' last='Spann'] / 2025
Elite fitness. Sometimes he looks a little ungainly in tight spaces. Plyometrics can help him improve agility even more. Goes to the basket consistently. Did not take many outside shots, so that evaluation is incomplete.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610402' first='George' last='Mabury'] / Independence / 2027
Ideal height for the position. Curious to see how he would handle playing point guard. In showcase events many guys' hands get "sticky" and they pass too infrequently. Mabury projects as a combo guard, but developing his court awareness and dribbling are necessary regardless.
