Freshman Showcase Team 1 Evals

This does not include the players who were selected for the All Showcase Team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2569209' first='Matthew' last='Dubbert'] (Moberly): A 5'10 guard from Mid Missouri who is skilled offensive player with toughness and a strong motor. He used shot fakes well to keep defenders off balance. He displayed a deft touch on his runners and he made 3-pointers off of high ball screens. He was also rebounding the ball very well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2503734' first='Alex' last='Wise'] (Francis Howell: A 6'2 guard who was very solid in all facets of the game. He was shooting it well from 3-point range and he was also creating well off the bounce. His offensive bag was impressive as he used the jab step well while also using a variety of escape moves to create an open look.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2569211' first='Tucker' last='Reutzel'] (Fredericktown): A 5'11 guard who is a very impressive offensive player who can score from all three levels. He's quick and he was attacking the basket effectively. He knows how to angle off defenders and also draw subtle contact to create space. His float game was very good and he can also shoot it from 3-point range.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>James Jones lll (Alton Marquette): A 6'3 post player who has a big body and a lot of potential. He's physically strong and he has good hands and footwork around the basket. He rebounded the ball well. He's in the beginning stages of his development and he comes from a family of big people. That is what makes his future a bright one.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jalyn Nguyen (Edwardsville): A 5'7 point guard who may be small in stature, but he's very quick and very strong. That was evident as he attacked the basket aggressively and finished through contact very well. He was also hitting the pull up jumper to compliment the drive. He was also very aggressive on the defensive end as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2569199' first='Donovan' last='Irving'] (Chaminade): A 5'11 guard who was creating well off the dribble. The young lefty has a quick first step and he could stop and pop from the mid range very well. He is very shifty with the ball as he changes speeds and directions well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2569212' first='Tyler' last='Evjen'] (St Charles West): A 6'0 guard guard who was impressive in the 3-on-3 game that I watched with his off the ball movement. He was cutting well and getting open.
