Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Clarke does a nice job facilitating the offense and consistently finds teammates in positions to score. He showed a strong understanding of how to feed the post, delivering timely passes that led to easy scoring opportunities around the basket. In transition, Clarke operated effectively, making good decisions and helping push the pace when opportunities presented themselves. He reads and reacts to the game well, displaying a high basketball IQ and the ability to break down plays as they develop. Clarke also proved to be a capable shooter from beyond the arc, adding another layer to his offensive game. As he continues to add strength and muscle to his frame, his overall effectiveness and versatility should continue to grow.

Audenried got the day started with a hard-fought win over a pesky CR South (PA) team, thanks in no small part to the offensive exploits of Clarke in the backcourt. A slender and aggressive perimeter scorer, he looks to have sprouted a bit since making a splash last year as a freshman. Splitting time on and off the ball, he was most effective shaking free beyond the arc to display his smoothly confident 3pt stroke. As he continues filling out his frame and rounding out his skillset off the bounce, Clarke could certainly emerge as a scholarship-level prospect down the line as he continues to build a resumé of production.
