Hector Durand Hector Durand 6'6" Richmond George Ranch | 2027 State TX , a prospect I’ve been monitoring since the Rice Team Camp this summer, playing for Empowering Others Prep now. Standing at 6’8, he showcased his versatility during the Houston Christian University Elite Camp. Offensively, his athleticism was evident as he effortlessly finished above the rim, while his shooting ability was impressive, allowing him to effectively shoot from all three levels. Defensively, his agility and frame enabled him to guard multiple positions with great effort. I’m eagerly anticipating his continued performance throughout the season.

Hector Durant brought toughness and maturity to the point guard position. He consistently played with poise, showing the ability to slow the game down and make advanced reads under pressure. His passing instincts were impressive, especially when attacking help defenders and finding shooters on the perimeter. Durant also competed defensively and showed a willingness to embrace physical play. His all-around steadiness gave EOP Kings a strong leader every time he stepped on the floor.
