Smith possesses excellent length and physical tools that immediately stand out. He protects the rim naturally, rebounds at a high level, and finishes efficiently around the basket. His mobility allows him to defend multiple frontcourt positions while continuing to improve offensively as a face-up threat. Smith remains one of the more intriguing developmental power forwards in East Texas.
