About Kenyon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a basketball player that does whatever it takes to win. Making the right basketball Play comes natural to me.I am a hard Nosed defense guard that can constantly pressure the ball. I can also get to the basket at will, and i have a consistent mid range jumpshot. I am comfortable shooting the 3 but im working on it every day consistently.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My approach to the game is all about accomplishing a common goal, and that is to win the game. What ever i have to do for my team that game is what i’m willing to do. As far as personality goes i always try to keep positive energy around my teammates. Basketball is a true joy for me, when i’m on the basketball court i feel complete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently participate in TJ Ford’s Basketball academy For young men and women. Throughout this program not only do we get better at basketball, but are coaches and trainers help us mold ourselves as young men and women. I am grateful to have the academy in my life because I have an opportunity to change my life.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

When I first started to play basketball, I thought the game was all about me. Throughout my journey I have learned that i am nothing without my team. My passion for the game allows me to be a leader, but my humility will also allow me to be coached.

What type of college are you looking for?

The college that wants me and will give me an opportunity to receive a free education while also being as competitive as possible.
