Gittens put an end to his recruitment with a commitment to Sacred Heart University. An athletic, playmaking guard, Gittens came out of the summer as a stock riser after running with The House We Built. He is dynamic with the ball in his hands, does a great job of playing at different speeds, and has terrific burst in tight spaces. Although lean, he’s not afraid of physicality and does a great job of finishing with strength at the rim. He’s a big time scorer, developing playmaker, and super competitor. Defensively, he has lockdown tools when you consider his positional size, athleticism, length, and how hard he plays. Sacred Heart continues to build a nice class with Gittens, who profiles as a dynamic guard that could make a big impact in the MAAC.
