2025 Rankings Update III

PH NorCal's 2025 Rankings have been up dated. This 2025 class has 225 actively ranked prospects with 21 new players added, and more on the Watch List. Here at PH NorCal we make the effort to see as many NorCal Prospects as we can.    A wiry prospect with a frame to build. He has good fundamentals. He can handle and make the right pass around the perimeter and in transition. He moves without the ball looking for open spaces for a clear shot. He can get into rhythm coming down court in transition for 3-point shots. He's shot ready to drop catch corner 3's.     In the early parts of the Spring we saw that he was a reliable shooter from behind the 3-point line. He moves without the ball finding open spots using screens, curls, and a dribble to free himself up. He spots up well around the perimeter on the catch. He takes and makes good shots, along with the extra pass. He's a heads up player usually making the right decisions.     He's a good shooting guard, that can drop open 3's and hit the short jumper. He plays a balanced game, no flash just good fundamentals. He's a good ball handler, with vision making the long pass up court, and around the perimeter. He's a good passer into the post. He has a good understanding of the game.     He has good foot speed, he's aggressively trying to score, he's got a few moves to get his shots. A ball fake, jab step, and quick first step, throw in crossovers to get by defenders along the perimeter. He works from the side mostly, handles up top a bit. He has good lift going up in the paint. He's an alert defender with lengthy arms, he got a steal, rebounded and pushes fast up court using the dribble.     He looks to put up 3's when he's on the court, he's in constant movement looking for open space, he's shot ready with no hesitation on the shot, he can hit long range 3's in rhythm. In transition he stays wide running down to the corners, or along the perimeter, he'll look for a screens, use the curl to free himself. He can take a hit to the basket. He makes free throws.     Listed at 6'3 he's a strong guard who rebounds well. He'll be tasked with guarding bigger players in the post at times, he'll has foot speed to defend on the perimeter. He has hands to receive on the cut, then take it up strong in traffic. He's fast filling lanes, he'll shoot an open 3 if left alone in the corner and at the top.     He's long and thin with work to do, but he's made enough progress to go from Watch List to rankings. He'll be counted on to man the middle for this guard oriented team. He mostly works from block to block, he'll come up for screens, then head back down, he's ready for the dump off pass. He'll change shots in the paint every now and then. His rebounding numbers should go up.     He's an athletic scoring guard, always on the attack. He has good strength and ball handling skills while aggressively looking to put points on the board in transition and along the perimeter. He did find ways to involve teammates with good passing on the drive and kick. He can hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble, he has good lift on the paint jumper. He handles contact. He has the foot speed and strength to guard multiple position, he'll help rebound.
