About Damann

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high energy player who overall Plays 1-3 position looking for steals, fast breaks and assisting my team in rebounds and looking up court to see who may be open to create a play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a versatile SG/PG with strong floor awareness and pattern recognition, focused on making efficient plays on both ends. I bring a collaborative mindset and a team-first approach.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with the Bradley Elite AAU team, where we regularly volunteer, participate in community cleanups, and mentor younger youth. Through this involvement, I’ve developed leadership, responsibility, and a strong commitment to positively impacting my community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a current co-captain at PHH Prep, I’ve developed leadership skills by leading through communication, consistency, and example. I prioritize teamwork and accountability while helping create a positive, competitive environment. I also volunteer annually, which has strengthened my character, discipline, and commitment to serving my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Competing at a national level has challenged me to constantly improve my game. Facing strong competition taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of preparation and film study.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a Division I or Division II program where I can excel both academically and athletically, continue developing my game, and contribute to a competitive team environment.

A smooth, skilled wing prospect who is from Milwaukee and attends Phoenix Prep in Arizona, Young was outstanding for Bradley Elite in its win over Wisconsin Dynasty . With good size and a nice shooting stroke, Young drilled five three-point shots on the way to scoring a game-best 21 points. He also was very unselfish on drives to the basket, looking to drop the ball off to his frontcourt teammates. Young moves well defensively and was able to stay in front of his opposing guards while helping his team garner a convincing victory.
