Texas HS Basketball Season Preview: 2025 Scoring Guards to Watch

Specifically when I watched him play at the Rice University Team Camp he scored a total of 84 points through three games with his camp high being 34 points against Hardin High School. Noah plays at a pace to where he finds his spots on the floor offensively and capitalizes on the opportunities he creates to score. Based on his overall camp performance this summer he was one of the most efficient scoring guards in the senior class. Due to his impressive summer he got on college radars. The first time I watched him play he impressed me with his ability to score the ball. With different defenses being thrown at him from multiple teams he still found ways to score the ball at a high level. Jayvion can turn into a heater when making shots on offense as he creates his own shot off the dribble well. The quickness he uses in the open floor allows him to not only create opportunities at the rim for himself but his teammates as well. He plays with great pace where he can go from zero to one hundred in speed when he finds opportunities to make plays with the ball in his hands. His pull up jumper is smooth elevating on them keeping opponents from blocking his shot especially against defenders taller than him. Playmaking is another strength of his finding open teammates especially on the fast break. RJ plays hard on defense as well poking the ball out of opponents hands and in the post. While displaying his range from the perimeter he also showed he can score driving to the basket with his crafty play style on offense. He broke London High School's record for the most three pointers made in a season. Also he has scored over 1,000 career points in three seasons going into his senior season. Defensively he makes an impact with his active hands stealing  the ball from opposing players. He hustles being in passing lanes displaying his anticipation on defense. Due to his top performances, he ended up getting recognition from multiple scouting services. He makes an impact on both ends of the floor with his offensive and defensive ability. Offensively he can score on all three levels by making perimeter shots, mid-range shots and layups around the rim. Defensively he makes effort plays on the ball and off the ball coming away with steals at times. With him going to Bellaire High School for his senior season I'm confident he will fit right in with the team and make a sufficient impact.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
