Colbert is the type of glue guy who makes a team work as a cohesive unit. He is a fantastic all-around player who stands out for three essential reasons: First, he is the ultimate team player. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, his energy remains exactly the same. Second, he takes immense pride in his defense; he is going to sit down in a stance and get stops. Lastly, he is a perimeter specialist. Give him a clear look, and he will knock the shot down. While scouts might selfishly want to see him explore his offensive bag more, he is completely locked in on winning, which makes him incredibly valuable in today’s game.

Colbert earns his spot as an honorable mention because of his ability to just keep scoring the ball. He was competitive on both sides, but the thing that stood out was he just kept getting buckets. He was getting to the rim and finishing through contact. He was walking up and knocking down three point shots, he was hitting mid range shots and he was knocking them down with ease. A special scorer has to be recognized because when the lights were bright he stepped into them with confidence. He is a constant competitor that is ready to step into the spotlight.
