Dre is coming off a huge off-season and recently committed to UMary for hoops. Austin will be staying home in Bismarck next fall, congrats on the commitment! Austin is a big, strong, and skilled guard who does a bit of everything on the court. He is an imposing athlete who is dangerous off the bounce, sees the floor well, and is a difference-maker on the defensive end. Dre is a tough & gritty kid who will do anything to win or help his teammates. PHD expects a monster season from Dre, the Demons will be tough, and Mr. Austin will be one of the best ballers in all of North Dakota!

BIG COUNTRY [player_tooltip player_id='1355919' first='Bennett' last='Larson'] played up in 17U this summer and he performed well. PHD named him to the 16U All-Dakotas Team. Larson never lacks enthusiasm or effort and his motor is always running at top speed. His interior post moves are improved, he will do anything for a rebound, and he runs the floor hard. Bennett gets to the FT-line often, has a nose for the ball, and he protects the paint with pride. I like that he shares the ball out of the post and the fact that he will not back down from anyone regardless of size or age. Larson will get you points but he changes the game with all the little things, physicality, and high energy.

His game continues to upgraded and improve from everything that I have heard and seen. Brody has the potnetial to be a breakout baller in the WDA this coming season, Brody should thrive alongside of [player_tooltip player_id='1169148' first='Parker' last='Falcon'], get plenty of good looks, and produce at an impressive level. Weigel impressed me at the Who's Next Combine an he was named to the 16U All-Tournment Team by Ryan James. Brody strikes me as a player who does not make all the flashy moves and throw fancy passes yet he is very efficient and effective. I like his balance, pull-up game, and old-school skill. The sky is the limit for Mr. Weigel.

PHD was lucky enough to see [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom']-2 play multiple times on the Prep Hoops Ciruit and Sheldon was always impressive. If Gilman was a class B player, I would consider him as a potential All-State baller. It will be interesting to see what role he plays with the Pats this winter. Either way, Gil showed out this summer. I like his unrelenting effort, strength, rebounding, slashing, passing, and shooting. He is no stranger to AND1 buckets and he brings an edge to the game that most players cannot match. He deserves the credit and we hope his senior season if full of fireworks. Gilman Shledon is a baller that fans need to hear about!

His stock will certainly be shooting up in the next Rankings Update. Hippen impressed me multiple times in the club season. Thompson will be a top team in class A this winter and I see Noah as a key role player. The Tommies will be long, strong, and tough inside the arc. Hippen has the potential to be a breakout baller in class A hoops. Besides being long, Noah is mobile and athletic. Hippen has a fluid and aesthetically pleasing shot. He drills jumpers from 3, 15-feet, and finishes with ease at the rack. I like his slashing ability, rebounding production, and potential on defense. Hippen is the real deal!

His Hoop City squad had great success this spring/summer and collected many wins. Colby is a winner who plays hard and is not afraid of making the gritty play. Nuttbrock made the All-Dakotas 15U Team and was named to the All-Tournament Team by Ryan James at the GPA. If you watch this kid play, you are quickly impressed! I am intriguied with his rebounding, scoring after contact, running of the floor, movement without the ball, hands, and general toughness. Every team needs a player like Colby!

West River basketball never gets enough love and Buehler is a prime example. If Devin played in the Sioux Falls area, everyone would know his name. He speed & athleticism pops and his playmaking ability is beyond impressive. He is tough, athletic, and super-skilled. Buehler scores the rock from 3-levels, makes a large amount of plays in transion, has a sweet jump shot, and his ball skills are next- level. This Ranger is a dynamic playmaker, a ballhawk, and a leader. On D, he moves his feet well, creates TO's with his quick hands and anticipation, and Devin is a rockstar in the full-court game. Expect a huge senior season campaign from Mr. Buehler!

He looked great with Hoop City and I admire/respect his execution on the offensive end of the floor. Stormo knows where to be on the court, gets to his spots, and hits his shots consistently. Calling this kid tough is an understatement. He never backs down. Evan is an accomplimished shooter but he scores from all levels and is not afraid to work for buckets inside the paint. Stormo battles for boards, is versatile/reliable/persistent on defense, and he can score the rock from every level. I like that he can score moving off the ball but also create his own shot. Evan is a creator, a distributor, and a 2-way dawg who makes everyone around him a better player.

He was very impressive in the spring/early summer. Grant played up an age group to Hoop City 17U and was a beast inside. Wilkinson is is stock riser in hoops but also looks to be a D1 football recruit. The BIG Bulldog is a force inside but also has some qaulity skill. Grant score with both hands around the basket, hits consistently from mid-range, and he will cash in the occasional 3-pointer when given too much space. I like his hands, footwork, and movement without the ball. Wilkinson will easily be one of the top BIGs in class B and he will draw a ton of attention. Let's not forget about his high-yielding rebounding and tough defense in the paint!

I am intrigued with his bounce and high-octane mobility. Woods plays above the rim and does all the little things. He did not get a ton of touches on the SSA Black team but his athleticism was on full display and he did the little thing to stand out. His vertical catches your eye and his play at the rim will get your heart racing. I was impressed with his O-rebounding and production on second-chance opportunities. I watched multiple games where Jhace cleaned up the boards and changed the game with rim-protecting & shot-blocking. Woods is also a selfless teammate and a willing passer. This Warrior is a next-level athlete!
