He hit six threes in this game and hit them at an insanely efficient clip. His shot mechanics and touch were all very much in control every time he put a shot up. His release was fast but never hurried, and if given any space, he was liable to hit from deep. It felt like if he was given any space in this game, the shot was going in no matter what. But even with a hand in his face and with limited space, his shot was never bothered. All of his threes were hit off the catch and he seemed at his best spacing the floor as a stationary shooter. The arc on his shot was very high, which added shooter’s touch and contributed to high efficiency. He was also elite at attacking closeouts and hanging in there through contact for tough lays. His defense was great as well. He was a ball hawk and procured many steals with his active hands and activity in the passing lanes.
