The third transfer of the article, Paz was a prospect I saw this June with Marion Harding and will now attend Shelby. Paz is a quick slashing guard who is at his best when he is attacking downhill with the ball in his hands. On a Shelby team that’s had a bunch of top talent for their region, Paz should fit in well with their talented group of multi-sport athletes. With a more up-tempo style of play than a lot of their conference rivals, Shelby could be a good fit for Paz on the court as he enters his Junior season as a potential breakout candidate.

Caught an under the radar team in Marion Harding who have won a lot of basketball games over the past three years thanks to players like Paz. An impressive athlete, Paz could attack a closeout and was quick to sprint down the court for transition opportunities. Defensively, Paz showed impressive on-ball pressure by forcing turnovers and a five second violation. I would imagine Marion Harding remains a tough out in their conference if Paz continues to play at a high level.
