Mykell Stacy
About Mykell
Expert Analysis
Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Stacy is a floor spacer for D1 New Mexico and a shooter that teammates believe in. He had multiple shots that they kicked to him and got back on defense because they knew it was going in. He hit shots in bunches, was a guy that teams had to know where he was, and moved without the ball to keep the offense flowing. Not only did he knock down shots, but the timing of his shots mattered. He hit shots when it mattered, to start or slow down runs, and was a shot hunter. He had a weekend worth mentioning.

play and I was once again impressed. The 2026 combo guard has a ton of confidence and doesn’t hesitate to shoot the ball when he has a quality look. He can also shake his defenders with his ball-handling skills. On the other end of the court, he stays locked in and can cause turnovers.

went off in his game against Team Rampage and dropped 28 points. He was getting to his spots and connected on shots from just about everywhere. I also noticed Stacy playing stout defense and I liked how disruptive he was. Overall, it was a grade A performance from him and Legacy got the win as well.

( Team Legacy ) Stacy is a quick guard who could not be contained when he got in the open court. His biggest impact was on the defensive end. He was picking up defenders the full length of the court and collected a handful of steals in the opening game.
