Good weekend for hoops here in Dallas as we kick off the Grind Final Regionals with some elite matchups we've been waiting for all summer. I'll be spotlighting some players that personally caught my eye with their savy play on day 1.

6'4 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2610468' first='Te'zhan' last='Francois'] is a long guard that showed some series flashes of star power in Texas Summits first game of the weekend with 20+. His size stands out at the guard spot being able to guard the 1-4 and would be considered a lock down defender and offensively has the tools to takeover the game or get his teammates going while playing within the offense. He's someone to radar in the 2026 class for sure heading into his junior season at Lewisville High School.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556233' first='6'2' last=''] 2025 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2556537' first='Max' last='Walker'] went off today going for 36. He's a tough matchup for anyone with his versatile offensive skill set being able to drain the 3 at will or get to the basket for short floaters, pull-up jumpers and layups. He was also tough defensively in the passing lanes making things happen and giving his team transition looks over and over. He can really light up, make sure he is on your radar.

6'6 2025 Deandre Lewis was electric today leading his team to a big comeback and letting everyone know he should be on their radar. His game is tough, I'd consider him a big guard looking at his ball handling and shooting ability from behind the arc. He can also take it and finish strong over, through or around any defender you throw at him. Defensively he adds length and protects the rim with high IQ staying out of foul trouble. He put on a show today, he is a serious prospect out of the Mississippi area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556233' first='6'2' last=''] PG [player_tooltip player_id='1590877' first='Jaxon' last='Sneed'] was impressive all around today with his savy ball handling, high IQ pace and consistent attack at the rim. Super smoove PG with a nice frame he puts lots of pressure on the defense by continuously moving with and without the ball. Defensive dog, especially in the trap he forced a handful of turnovers today that really frustrated the opposing team. My favorite part was his confidence even when his shots weren't falling he literally “played” through it and got back on track finishing the game with a hot hand. Lookout for a breakout season from Jaxson headed into his upperclassman campaign. He is BIG time.

6'5 2025 F [player_tooltip player_id='2403803' first='Tristan' last='Chacier'] was the man today for FYN Allstars recording 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in a big win overtime win. Versatile player is the first word that comes to mind. He can take you off the dribble, knock down the jumper or just put jump you in the post for easy buckets. He was also solid defensively guarding multiple positions today. [player_tooltip player_id='2382177' first='Tristan' last=''] was today and I'm looking for him to a huge stock riser in Texas by the end of the year.
